On 20th June 2010 (Sunday), we celebrate a Father's Day for Apak (Harudin B. Lope) at his house...I dunno what to buy. So that afternoon I just went out with my wife to search something special for him but end up with nothing. My watch shows that its already 7.48pm, so I decided to sembahyang 1st then searching again.
After prayers, I made up my mind to buy a nice cake for him la...So I just straight forward to Secret Recipe and order a "Pecan and Butter Scotch" Cake which he really love it. The cake cost me RM84.00 inclusive of 5% gov. tax (didn't really kisah about the price but the taste really make me feel so gooods!!!)
I call mak to make sure that she and apak are at home, if not there's no meaning for us to celebrate a Father's Day without both of them. We arrive Cheras around 8.30pm and straight forward greet apak 'Happy Father's Day', he smiles and say thank you.
That nite, he was preparing a dinner for us which he cooked himself (memang dia suka memasak) no doubt, the taste is really good. We start makan2 with bacaan doa. He requested Omar to baca doa before he cut the cake. We enjoy the dinner and share a lot of story during dinner. He look so happy that nite.
We finish the celebration around 11pm.
